The remains of Late Ezinne Beatrice Iheagbanwa Nwamgborogwu Nwagwu (Nee Iheanaetu) will be laid to rest on 19th December, 2024.
Information from the Nwamgborogwu family indicates that Late Ezinne Nwamgborogwu passed away on Saturday 10th August, 2024 at the ripe age of 90.
In a release signed by her son, Chief Dr Chibunna Innocent Nwamgborogwu, there will be service of songs at her residence, Umuchima Umuosisi Obizi in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA of Imo State, on Wednesday 18th December, 2024.
On Thursday, 19th December, 2024, the body will leave Holy Rosary Hospital Mortuary Emekuku, Owerri North LGA in Imo State, for briefs stop at Late Pa James Ohaeri’s compound, Umulolo Ogwu Nguru, Aboh Mbaise LGA and her maiden home, Iheanaetu compound, Umuawada Onicha, Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, before being received by Umuchima Umuosisi people at Ogwumabiri Obizi Market Square, Umuosisi and later laid in state at her husband’s compound, Late Pa Desmond Nwamgborogwu Nwagwu.
Later, a funeral mass will be held in her honour at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Omega Parish before interment at Umuchima Umuosisi Obizi.
Late Ezinne Nwamgborogwu is survived by many children, grand children and well-wishers among who is Chief Dr Chibunna Nwamgborogwu of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
