◼️As Owerri plays host to Global Peace Ambassador Award

All roads will lead to Owerri as the city plays host to the grand ceremony of the VIP Global Peace Ambassador Award, one of the most respected honors in peace advocacy.
The Vice President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, for South East, Comrade Ezenwa Adiuku and Imo NUJ Chairman, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma JP, are among those pencilled to receive the Peace Ambassador awards.
Organized by the Global Peace Building Network (GPBN) in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Educational Practitioners United Kingdom (CIEPUK), the event is scheduled for Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 1:30 pm at Rock View Hotel, beside Government House.
Guests and dignitaries from across Nigeria and beyond are expected to grace the colorful occasion, which will celebrate outstanding contributions to peace, unity, and social development.
According to the organizers, the award is a symbol of excellence and integrity, strictly merit-based and without financial obligations. It is designed not only to honor peace-builders but also to inspire wider support for the mission of fostering harmony across Africa by eliminating tribal and religious divides.
With its global reach and local presence in London, Abuja, and Awka, the Global Peace Building Network says the award remains a shining beacon of hope, promoting education, advocacy, and the noble cause of peace.
