Prince Barrister Chinenyeze Chilaka, PhD, has warmly congratulated Ugoeze Augustina Esonu, wife of His Royal Highness, Eze Godwin Esonu, the late traditional ruler of Udo Autonomous Community in Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, on her well-deserved recognition and conferment with the prestigious title of “Ezinné Nwere Ugwu.”
The award of honour was bestowed on Ugoeze Esonu by the women of St Thomas Anglican Church, Udo Ezinihitte Mbaise during the 2026 Mothering Sunday celebration.
Prince Chilaka, who was a People’s Democratic Party, PDP Governorship aspirant in 2015, described Ugoeze Augustina Esonu as a renowned philanthropist, God-fearing and faithful woman who strongly believes in and anchors her trust in God.
He noted that she is blessed with nine children and over fifty grandchildren, a testimony to her legacy of family values, love, and dedication.
He further praised her humility, which he said is second to none, adding that her deep love for the things of God and her unwavering commitment to serving humanity earned her the honour bestowed upon her.
Fondly called “Mama Augustina” by many younger women and members of the community, she is widely known for being approachable, compassionate, and ever willing to assist the less privileged.
Her life, he said, reflects a genuine belief in heavenly reward, as she continually strives to achieve it through service to humanity and dedication to the work of God.
Prince Chilaka concluded by expressing heartfelt congratulations to his beloved mother-in-law, noting proudly that he is married to her fifth daughter, Princess Angela Chilaka, and praying for continued strength, good health, and more years of impactful service to God and humanity.
