*Dear fellow citizens of Imo State,*

I write to you today with a heartfelt appeal to put an end to the blame game surrounding the issue of insecurities in our beloved state. Instead, let us come together and find a common ground to discuss peace and seek solutions to this pressing menace. The upcoming Imo State Peace Conference is a beautiful event that provides us with a platform to achieve just that, and I implore you all to make every effort to attend.

In recent times, we have witnessed a disturbing rise in insecurity within our communities. Lives have been lost, families shattered, and our once vibrant state is now overshadowed by fear and uncertainty. It is natural to feel frustrated and seek someone to hold accountable for these challenges, but pointing fingers and engaging in the blame game will not bring about the peace we so desperately need.

The time has come for us to set aside our differences and unite in our shared goal of finding lasting solutions to the insecurities in Imo State. It is not about who is to blame; it is about how we collectively rise above these challenges and work towards a safer and more secure future. The Imo State Peace Conference offers us a unique opportunity to do just that.

This conference is not just another event; it is a gathering of individuals from all walks of life, coming together to foster dialogue, understanding, and cooperation. It is a platform where we can put aside our differences and focus on our shared experiences, concerns, and aspirations. By attending the peace conference, we can collectively brainstorm and find innovative solutions to the insecurities plaguing our communities.

Attending the Imo State Peace Conference is not a sign of surrender or weakness; it is a demonstration of strength, resilience, and unity. It shows our commitment to working together and finding common ground to tackle the challenges we face. It is an opportunity to engage in open and honest conversations with fellow citizens, community leaders, and experts in various fields who share our aspirations for a more peaceful state.

Moreover, this conference provides a safe and inclusive space for everyone to voice their concerns, ideas, and suggestions. It is a place where every citizen’s voice matters, regardless of their background, religion, or social status. It is a chance to be heard and contribute to the ongoing discussions on peace-building in Imo State. Your presence and participation at the conference will strengthen the collective voice of our communities and ensure that our concerns are represented.

Additionally, attending the peace conference allows for networking and collaboration with like-minded individuals and organizations who are passionate about building a peaceful Imo State. By coming together, we can pool our resources, knowledge, and experiences to create effective strategies that will address the root causes of insecurity and prevent future conflicts. The connections made at this conference may lead to partnerships and projects that will have a lasting impact on our communities.

Lastly, attending the Imo State Peace Conference is an investment in our collective future. The decisions and actions we take today will shape the Imo State that our children and grandchildren will inherit. By actively engaging in the peace-building process, we are teaching them the importance of unity, dialogue, and collaboration. We are setting an example of how a community can come together, rise above challenges, and work towards a brighter and more peaceful future.

In conclusion, I urge each and every citizen of Imo State to let go of the blame game and embrace the opportunity to find common ground and seek solutions to the insecurities we face. The Imo State Peace Conference is an event that invites us to do just that. Let us put aside our differences, attend the conference, and actively participate in the discussions. Together, we can make a difference and create a safer, more secure, and peaceful Imo State for all….. *Bishop Prof Athan Azubuike JP Esq FCIAMPS FMIMPS*
