A Catholic Church at World Bank Area of Owerri, Imo State, St Anthony Mary Claret, recently presented an Award of Excellence to some personalities which include an Obowo born business man and political strategist, Hon Uzoma Desmond Egbukichi (DE BILL).
Presenting the Award, the parish priest, Fr Marcel Obilo described Hon Egbukichi as a leader of substance with a large heart of human kindness and worthy Imo son.
In his remarks, the award recipient, Hon Uzoma Egbukichi, thanked St Anthony Mary Claret for finding him worthy of the Award.
Hon Egbukichi dedicated the award to God, his family, EGBUKICHI ROYAL FAMILY, Royal Boss Family’ and the Obident Family Nationwide.
He pointed out that he would not relent in his quest for youth empowerment and impacting the society positively.
Continuing, he commended the church for her relentless commitments towards encouraging the culture of training, socialization and learning for children and youths.
Hon Egbukichi is from Umunachi, Obowo LGA Imo State. He is the Chairman Board of Directors- Face of Arise Africa . A Talent Community poised to ensure that every young, willing and ready talent have the guidance to become relevant in the siciety. Creating visibility at scale, establishing a network of activities that recognize and rewards talents efforts.
He is said to have brought joy to many families by registering many candidates for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), granting of scholarships to many who would have dropped out of school.
Hon Egbukichi dedicates himself to uplifting and serving his local community and a diverse global audience. His path is characterized by a relentless devotion to capacity building and youth development. He stands out as a beacon of faith, resilience and hope. Touching lives and inspiring hearts across the globe through the Face of Arise Africa platform.
The Excellence Award is one of the ways of appreciating him for his vision, enterprise and contributions to youth development in Imo State.
