… Nneji explains inherent benefits

It was an epoch-making event that shook the Mbaise nation on May 17, 2024, as Imo State government inaugurated the Mbaise Chamber of Commerce and conferred the Ist President of the Chamber, Sir Joe Ogbonna Anosike.
The Governor, Sen Hope Uzodimma who was represented by the state’s Commissioner for Trade, Commerce and Industry, Dr Chika Abazu in a speech, described the new Chamber as one that will metamorphose into something great if given the right platform and awareness it needs.
He applauded the bold initiative and encouraged them to look inwards and identify exportable products of comparative advantage that can be improved upon as his Ministry is developing a model to showcase every conceivable idea to boost rural economic boom.

The Commissioner who expressed joy over the development, attributed the achievement to Governor Uzodimma and his shared prosperity programs.
He charged Mbaise sons and daughters to come together, register with the Chamber for fertilization of ideas and shun the pull-him-down syndrome in order to achieve the dream of a better Imo State by aggressively drawing down Investment to boost Trade and Commerce.
In an earlier remarks, the pioneer President, Sir Joe Ogbonna Anosike thanked Governor Uzodimma for granting the Chamber a seamless take off process while making promises that the Chamber will not go moribund under his watch.
An Mbaise born technocrat/business mogul, and founder of ABC Transportation Plc, Mr Frank Nneji, was apt in his remarks when he explained the benefits and importance of chamber of commerce.
“There are many benefits that are usually associated with the chamber of commerce. There are many things emerging businessmen and businesses cannot do alone but will most surely succeed when these issues are undertaken as a chamber”, Nneji explained.
Continuing, he said, “The chamber is about advocacy and its aim is to solve business problems as well as promote business activities. I can tell you that the chamber also plays very great role in foreign and local businesses and partnerships.
“Again, the chamber provides training windows even as it brings access to funds and networks to members. Thus, I most sincerely urge you all to join and identify with Mbaise Chamber of Commerce Industry Mine and Agriculture”.
As part of the highlights of the ceremony, award plaques were presented to the Governor of Imo State, Sen Hope Uzodimma as well as other Mbaise personalities.
