The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Learn Factory Nigeria, Engr Chibueze Ukaegbu has said that his mission in life is to empower people, having awarded several scholarships on technology training. He added that the fastest way to reach the grassroots is through collaboration with the government.
He made the disclosure in a chat with newsmen shortly after the graduation ceremony of 509 students of Tech Rise iGNiTING DIGITAL EXCELLENCE in Abia State at JAAC building Secretariat Umuahia recently.
“So I decided to partner with Abia Government to make sure every Abia youth gets this opportunity”, he said.

According to him, the training focused on seven various courses as follows, Fullsack web Development with Java script, Fullsack web Development with python, AI & prompt Engineering, Data Engineering, Mobile App Development with Java script, Digital Arts and Animation and product management and UI/UX Design, and where selected because of their impact in the World today.
The CEO explained the importance of the seven courses as the “Fullsack Engineers are the ones that build web application, mobile Lab Engineers are the ones that build the Data we have on our phones while the Data scientists are the ones that help companies make decisions around Data and UI/UX are the ones that create beautiful products which engineers and the other engineers build.
” So, it was a holistic programme to touch every area of core technology”, he added.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Uzor Nwachukwu said that the whole world is in the era of digital advancement and excellence all over the world as the world is moving from the traditional way of doing things to highly scientific and technological advanced ways of dealing and handling issues in the 21st century. “It’s all about leveraging on technology to be able to solve human problems and challenges and then, we look at the Abia youths.
“We acknowledge the fact that our people are backwards than those from South West and other places. leveraging on a lot of opportunities from organizations, NGOs that floats such places.
“So in the advent of this Government, His Excellency, Governor Alex Chioma Otti believed that one of the things he will do is to equip the youths with this type of knowledge and acquire the necessary skills and be able to compete in the emerging world we have today.”
Commissioner Nwachukwu while highlighting the essence of the training, described it as a transformative initiative that empowers Abia youths with practical digital skills just within three months.
According to him, the training empowers the youths to become relevant in the digital world.
