)Full of joy over the rescue of 20 NYSC members and One civilian Kidnapped In Imo state on their way to Abia and Akwa Ibom orientation camps, Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe has given kudos to Imo State Governor, Senator Dr Hope Uzodimma for promptly sponsoring successful rescue mission that brought back the victims alive from the dungeon.
In a press statement endorsed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Peter Uwa, Speaker Chike Olemgbe also paid glowing tribute to federal and Imo state security agencies for their gallantry, display of excellence in professionalism and proper co-ordination in carrying out the rescue operation that fetched back the kidnapped innocent NYSC members.
Olemgbe further, extended warm greetings to the government of Oyo state for cooperating with the government and people of Imo state in efforts to rescue the victims from their captors.
The Imo house of assembly Speaker attributed successful rescue of the ill-fated NYSC members a few days after they were kidnapped to the efficiency and capability of Imo state security network under the watch of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
Rejoicing with families of the victims for their rescue, the Imo state legislative house Speaker, Chike Olemgbe who had earlier, appreciated all security agencies involved in the rescue mission as well as members of Imo state vigilance groups urged them to continue to cooperate among themselves and exchange intelligence reports on emergency situations.
According to Chike Olemgbe, entire members, management and staff of Imo State House of Assembly are very happy over this latest development.
