◼️Urge Miriam Onuoha to drop her third term agenda
The Okigwe Zone Youth Mandate has written to the Okigwe Zone Elders Global Council to demand for justice for Onuimo Local Government Area ahead of the 2027 Okigwe North Federal Constituency election.
In a release signed by Evang Kelechi Uzomah and Engr Chinedu Onuoha National President and National Secretary respectively of Okigwe Zone Youth Mandate, the group noted with total regret and expressed its displeasure over the inordinate ambition of Miriam Onuoha to deny the people of Onuimo Local Government Area the opportunity of producing the next House of Representatives member for Okigwe North Federal Constituency in 2027.
The Okigwe Zone Youth Mandate told the Okigwe Zone Elders Global Council led by HRM Eze Dr. Oliver Ohanweh(Chairman), Prof. Maurice Iwu, Chief Tony Chukwu to halt the desperate move by Miriam Onuoha to deny the people of Onuimo Local Government their turn in 2027.
The OYM reminded the Okigwe Zone Elders Global Council the roles they played in stopping His Excellency, Dr. Ikedi Ohakim from becoming the Senator of Okigwe Zone in 2023 on the ground that the zoning arrangement favours Okigwe Local Government which in turn paved way for the emergence of Hon Patrick Ndubueze as the Senator representing the good people of Okigwe Zone at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.
They further used the opportunity to call on the Okigwe Zone Elders Global Council to use the same method to tell Miriam Onuoha to bury her third term agenda and allow the people of Onuimo Local Government Area to produce the next House of Representatives member for Okigwe North Federal Constituency in 2027.
OYM added that Okigwe Zone Elders Global Council owe it as a duty to call Miriam Onuoha to order, maintaining that the only way the people of Okigwe Zone will see them as true patriots will be when they begin to do the right thing at the right time.
They informed Okigwe Zone Elders Global Council that the people of Okigwe Zone are looking up to them as elders of the Zone and enjoined them to right the wrongs done to Onuimo Local Government Area in 2023 by 2027.
The Okigwe Zone Youth Mandate said that it will pursue the issue of the third term agenda of Miriam Onuoha to the logical conclusion.
The OYM hinted that no amount of harassment and intimidation from Miriam Onuoha will make them to back out in their quest to ensuring equity, fairness and justice for Onuimo Local Government in 2027.
OYM called on all and sundry in Okigwe Zone to join hands with them to ensure that the people of Onuimo Local Government Area are allowed to produce the next House of Representatives member for Okigwe North Federal Constituency in 2027.
They applauded the Coalition of Okigwe Zone Youth Presidents for joining their voices in condemning the third term agenda of Miriam Onuoha in 2027.
