Renowned Media Relations Consultant, Chief Dr Fidel Onyeneke, has been appointed a GLOBAL PEACE AMBASSADOR by the John Terence Media Limited, an Internationally recognized peace development Agency.
In a Certificate of Appointment issued to Chief Onyeneke in Owerri on Tuesday, the Peace enhancement Organization stressed that Dr Onyeneke was given the prestigious Appointment based on his numerous contributions towards the actualization of Global Peace, in line with United Nations Agenda for peace promotion around the World.
The President of John Terence Media Limited,Mr John Terence Ononuju, explained that the appointment took effect from January 2026.
He described Onyeneke as a patriotic Nigerian who had used his professional acumen and other positions to canvas effectively for peace,unity and progress in the Societies across various parts of the world.
“I urge you to continue to promote peace in your Country as a Global Peace Ambassador”, President John Terence stated.
Receiving the Certificate, Chief Onyeneke expressed joy that his efforts to enhance peace wherever he found himself,had not been in vain.
He emphasized that the word would be a better place of living if people shunned violence,hatred and other Acts which were inimical to human co-existence.
Chief Dr Fidel Onyeneke who served as a Special Adviser on Orientation to the Imo State Governor, called for a change of heart by all Nigerians in order to be their brothers keepers, while enhancing the Security of all and Sundry.
Chief Onyeneke appealed to the people to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, accommodate one another,and jettison all forms of discrimination based on religion and tribe.
The Media guru and former NUJ Chairman in Imo state,promised to use his position as peace Ambassador to further preach love and unity through advocacy and other forms of engagements that would beef – up Security in the Nigerian Communities.
Onyeneke called for a deliberate effort to ensure high level of patriotism amongst Nigerians,in order to reduce the rate of De- marketing the nation and it’s citizens.
