A delegation of top Officials from the Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, Abia State chapter, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Alex Chioma Otti OFR, who was represented by Deputy Governor Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu FNSE.
During the meeting, Engr. Emetu expressed the administration’s commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to the people and appreciated the Bishops’ visit. He stated, “The present Administration under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti is ever ready to continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to the People.”
In his speech the President General of the Charismatic Bishops Conference, of Nigeria Archbishop Prof. Leonard Bature Kawas, commended Governor Otti’s transformational vision and achievements, pledging the Bishops’ support and prayers for his administration. He said, “We came to identify with Governor Otti’s administration considering the glaring achievements recorded so far.”
Other notable Bishops, including Archbishop Joshua Roberts, Bishop Dr. Kennedy Otti, and Bishop Dr. Peace Chikwe, echoed similar statements praising the Governor’s efforts and expressing readiness to partner with the government to further deliver good governance to the people.
Prayers were also said by the Bishops for the government and people of Abia State.
