On the Passing of Past President Barr. Rotimi Edu, mni, FCIB
The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers, Eastern Area Committee, joins the President ,Barr,Mrs, Ekeoma Ezeibe and the entire broking family in mourning the passing of our esteemed Past President, _Barr. Rotimi Edu, mni, FCIB_.
We received the news with profound shock and sorrow. Barr. Edu was a towering figure whose leadership left an indelible mark on the Council. He brought sharp intellect, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to reform and professional growth, even in the face of ill health.
For the Eastern Area, his legacy was one of inclusiveness, innovation, and service. He inspired both young and seasoned brokers to see insurance broking as a calling, not just a business. His vision challenged convention and strengthened the Council’s relevance within Nigeria’s insurance industry.
To his family, the Quicklink team, and the National Council, we extend our deepest sympathies. May you draw strength from the love and respect shown by colleagues across the industry whose lives he touched.
We pray that Almighty God grants Barr. Rotimi Edu eternal rest and grants his loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
