The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency, Arthur Ugochukwu, has called on eligible citizens across the constituency to actively participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise, describing democratic participation as the foundation for sustainable development.
In a message to constituents, Ugochukwu stated that the true strength of democracy lies not in elected officials but in the collective voice of the people expressed through the ballot.
According to him, every vote carries significance because it represents a citizen’s voice, personal choice, and an opportunity to influence the future direction of communities.
He encouraged all eligible residents who are yet to register to take advantage of the ongoing exercise, stressing that voter registration remains an important step in ensuring citizens are represented in governance and decision-making.
Ugochukwu noted that participation in the democratic process should not be viewed merely as a civic obligation but as a meaningful contribution to the growth, development, and advancement of the constituency.
