… Collaborative Inter-Governmental Synergies Proposed to Sustain the Tempo of Successes in Imo State

That Imo State is today ranked amongst the States wherein Anti Drug Use Sensitization Campaigns have permeated the nooks and crannies of the society is as obvious as the sudden upsurge in quality road infrastructure in Imo State. The anti Drug Use War is obviously such an area that Imo State has achieved momentous successes that even in the Christmas/New Year festivities, Imo State recorded zero entropy in the areas of violent crimes and insecurity.
In fact, Gov Hope Uzodimma may as well begin to celebrate his courageous and envisioned conquest over the problems of insecurity.
With a sustained multiplicity of platforms for youths engagement and sensitization, there is no gainsaying that a warrior is in the forefront of the Illicit Drug War in Imo State. Hon Chief Eze Obonna has truly given a good account of himself as the Bamaiyi of Imo Illicit Drug War.
No week ends, since after the appointment of Hon Ezechukwu Obonna without the news of his conquests in the Anti Drug warfronts in both the urban and the rural areas in Imo State.
The passion, energy and commitment put on display by the newly created Bureau of Narcotics and Illicit Drugs Monitoring under the energetic charge of Hon Ezechukwu Obonna can only be said to be commensurate with the urgency and emergency situations of the State in youth related violent crimes that fester due mainly to drugs addiction.
As a means to drastically reduce Drugs/substance abuse in a security-challenged State such as Imo State, the concerted efforts of the Special Adviser to the Performing Governor of Imo State on Narcotics and Illicit Drugs Monitoring, Hon Chief Eze Obonna should continue with his widely networked collaborations with the NDLEA, the Police and the associated security operatives. It is envisaged that the direct positive impacts on the youths of Imo State in particular, given the persuasive crusades being championed by the Special Adviser shall evidently dissuade those already trapped in the menace through the Drugs Rehabilitation Center put in place at the NDLEA office by Her Excellency, the wife of the Governor, Barr Chioma Uzodimma.
As a suggestion, I propose a collaboration between the Special Adviser to the Performing Governor on Narcotics and Illicit Drugs Monitoring, the Special Adviser Secondary Education Management Board – the egghead Hon Ezeala Ferdinand Akano and the Hon Dr Kirian Uchegbu – anchored Imo office of the Niger Delta Development Commission to give the succeeding crusade a Secondary School appeal and extend the warfare to the Hydrocarbon Areas of the Niger Delta Region.This shall avail much in the interim and on the long run, in mitigating the adverse effects of drugs on children of school age and checkmating the violence in the ranks and files of militancy in Imo State.
I commend the passion, media oratory and frequency of Hon Chief Eze Obonna – the free-style crusader and mesmerizer in the War against Narcotics/ illicit drugs in Imo State. The latest video of the Honourable in his persuasive campaign against drug menace is but an eloquent testimony of his quality in such a sensitive government appointment.
Kudos Hon Chief Eze Obonna. You are a pride truly to behold in your job.
May Imo State continue to win.
