Mr Nwabueze Christian Amakaulo, father of Comrade Onyinyechi Amakaulo has reportedly died after a brief illness.
In a release signed by his son, Ugochukwu Precious Amakaulo reads: “the family of Mr Nwabueze Christian Amakaulo, of Umuebie Amuzu community, in Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State, announces the death of their Patriarch, Mr Nwabueze Christian Amakaulo (Omenwanne), who slept in the Lord on the 18th of February, 2026, at Imo State University Teaching Hospital, Orlu, after a brief illness”.
According to the release, late Amakaulo “was a gentleman to the core,a family man,who contributed immensely to the development of his community in different categories.
“He was once the chairman of Umuebi Amuzu Federated Union Aba branch, Secretary and Treasurer of the same union at different times.
“Pa Amakaulo was a symbol of truthfulness , trust and reliable to those who crossed his paths. His good deeds speak volumes of a true statesman who lived for the Amakaulo family and others even at the point of death”.
The Late Amakaulo died at 70 years is survived by his wife, Mrs Comfort Ndiuka Amakaulo many children and grandchildren, among whom is the Imo State Secretary of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Comrade Onyinyechi Immaculata Amakaulo and also a.senior Correspondent with Owerri based Trumpeta Newspaper.
