Sen Anyanwu congratulates Eze Adiuku  on emergence as NUJ Vice President

The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has sent message of felicitations to Imo journalist , Comrade Eze Adiuku, on his emergence as Vice President, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Zone C, representing Southeast.

Comrade Adiuku is a renowned Journalist, Public Affairs Analyst and Development Communication expert.

Anyanwu in a message signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Ikenna Onuoha, charged him to leverage on his new position to salvage the union in the zone and as well, take it to an enviable height.

He promised to continue to partner with the union especially, now that an Imo son of Mbaise extraction is at the helm of affairs, assuring of his resolve to always render assistance aimed at promoting the well-being of Journalists and the union at large.

Senator Anyanwu therefore commended the electoral committee set up by the NUJ for conducting a decent election which saw the emergence of an Imo son, Comrade Adiuku as its Vice President for Zone C.

While wishing him well in his new office, Anyanwu further urges him to carry everyone along, ensure that Journalism tenets are sustained, re-address conduct of unprofessional Journalists and most importantly, resist any temptation to discriminate as part of measures to succeed.

Comrade Adiuku was elected by delegates during the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the Union in Kano State.

It.will be recalled that Adiuku is the first Imo journalist to be elected Vice President of the NUJ for the South East.
