Hon. Nnakire Obani, the 2027 candidate of the Action Alliance for Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, has said his decision to seek election into the House of Representatives is driven by a sincere commitment to service and a desire to advance development across the constituency.
Speaking on his aspiration, Obani explained that his ambition is rooted in his experiences growing up and living among the people, which exposed him to the everyday challenges confronting communities in the area.
The Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency hopeful, who hails from Eziala Owutu, noted that issues such as youth unemployment, inadequate infrastructure, limited educational opportunities, and poor access to quality healthcare continue to affect residents and require deliberate intervention.
According to him, these challenges go beyond figures and reports, as they directly impact families and communities across the constituency.
Obani stated that over the years, he had contributed to community development through personal efforts and local interventions but came to the conclusion that broader and lasting development can be better achieved through access to government institutions, public policies, and developmental resources.
He maintained that his interest in contesting is not motivated by the attraction of political office but by a desire to expand opportunities for young people, empower women, strengthen educational outcomes, improve healthcare delivery, and attract federal development projects to the constituency.
The Action Alliance candidate further pledged to work toward securing stronger federal presence and effective representation for the people of Ahiazu and Ezinihitte if elected.
Obani emphasized that leadership should be defined by service, adding that he is presenting himself for public office with a commitment to integrity, accountability, and responsibility to the people of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency.
