◾Recounts 4, 000 failed Imo youths’ Job in Europe
By Chidi Ibezim, Owerri

Renowned grassroot politician and Governorship hopeful in Imo State, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has urged Governor Hope Uzodinma to desist from making empty promises to Imo people, adding that such obvious deceit will never lure the people to support him again.
Anyanwu, who is the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party recounted a false promise made by Uzodinma during the 2023 election that he would take 4, 000 Imo youths to Europe for employment, regretting that Uzodinma had yet to fulfill that promise three years after.
“The same way he failed to fulfill the promise of taking 4, 000 Imo youths to Europe to resume work he purportedly secured for them during the 2023 election, Uzodinma has made another empty promise of completing everything he started under his tenure before handing over. This is another obvious deceit to hoodwink the gullible. Imo people are wiser now, Uzodinma should look for something else to deceive the people again with. But I assure him and his team, no amount of deceit and empty promises will make Imo people to support him in Imo”. He said.

He warned that if Governor Uzodinma continues in such mischievous trajectory, the future of Imo youths and the masses at large would be in shambles.
Anyanwu therefore urged Imo people to align themselves with the PDP and its candidates in Imo State, assuring that what Governor Uzodinma and his APC led government in the state could not do in 7 years, PDP would not hesitate to achieve them in less than two years in office.
He maintained that the party is building a blueprint that would alleviate poverty, boost the economy, address policies affecting civil servants and pensioners, increase wages for teacher and Lecturers, as well as stabilize government institutions for efficient functioning.
Anyanwu said that the PDP blueprint in Imo State would be handed over to all candidates of the party for adoption, expressing optimism that such initiative would relatively address various problems triggered by bad governance in Imo State.
