…Inaugurates Imo West Senatorial Campaign Council

National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party and frontline Governorship hopeful, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has described the Senatorial Candidate of PDP for Imo West Senatorial District, Rt. Hon Jones Onyereri, Ph.D and other PDP Candidates as unbeatable in the 2027 elections.
Anyanwu said that despite the hijack of his mandate in previous elections, Hon Onyereri had come out well equipped, fortified and prepared to defeat anyone running the same seat with him.
According to him, the only thing left was for party members in Orlu zone to do everything possible to support him, advising them to immediately embark on grassroot campaign as the only way to affirm the victory.
Anyanwu said this Sunday why inaugurating the Jones Onyereri Senatorial Campaign Council in Owerri Nkwoji, Nkwerre local government area of the state.
“I want to charge you to come out boldly to affirm the victory for our party. PDP is the only political party that is strongly standing. Others are engrossed in crisis with litigations. This should not be the first time an incumbent Governor will fail election. All House of Representative and House of Assembly elections in Imo State will win in the election”
He commended the appointment of Barr Golden Nwosu as Chairman, Dr. Peter Ukaigwe as Deputy Chairman, Prince Marshall Okaforanyanwu as Director General, while Nze Luke Ekwueme and Dr. Sixtus Nsorom would serve as Deputy Director General and Secretary respectively.
Senator Anyanwu, a two term National Secretary of PDP therefore charged the leadership of the council to galvanize the entire political system, and ensure the victory of all party candidates in the zone.
“I’m so sure that Rt Hon Jones Onyereri will win the Imo West Senatorial District in the 2027 election. Not only that Onyereri has the charisma, exposure, experience and qualifications, but is widely loved and accepted across party lines.”
Speaking further, Senator Anyanwu said that Orlu people were wise to identify who would deceive them, adding that the monumental failures, deceit and failed promises of APC administration in the state were so much that Imo people would never have sympathy on them. He warned anyone angling to rig the 2027 election not to add Imo State as one of the states election would be rigged.
In his entourage include, Hon. Austin Nwachukwu (Imo PDP Chairman), Hon Abraham Amah (Abia PDP Chairman), Governorship candidate of PDP in Abia State, Barr Kelechi Anosike, PhD, the Southeast PDP Secretary, Hon Mike Ahumibe and the State woman leader, Lolo Edith Nwachi, amongst others.
