Imo Sports Commission boss extols Non Indigenes Association

Imo State Sports Commission Chairman Hon Prince Sir Eleazar Onyewuchi Ogbonna (Ambassador) has commended the entire members of Imo State Non Indigenes Association (NIA) ably led by Comr Sir Lawrence Okoye.

Prince Eleazar Onyewuchi Ogbonna who is a patron of the group, was full of joy for the demonstration of love and show of support and solidarity from his people the non indigenes association through an Endorsement Road Walk Show Exercise carried out yesterday the 25th May.

He spoke through a telephone chat when contacted; saying such strong support is what the 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma needs.

He described Imo State governor Sen Hope Uzodimma as a man who has done well within the three and some months in office as the governor of the State.

He continued; upon the challenges faced with, on arrival of this government. Talking about the COVID 19 pandemic challenge, End Sars protest challenge and Unknown gunmen activities all these he said crippled the economy of the State and that of the country at large,but the governor still managed to pull through and delivered good governance with infrastructural development scattered across sectors of the State.

He commended the Non Indigenes Association in a special way and urged other groups and every Imolites to support the second tenure bid of His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma (Onwa Onyoko)

Sir Ogbonna have been in overseas for some months now, discussing and negotiating with international football clubs and with other foreign sports commissions in overseas on ways to partner with Imo Sports Commission under his chairmanship, to see how his office will use sports to elevate our youths from poverty, and take them off the streets.
