The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti has expressed commitment towards promoting locally manufactured goods and services in the state.
Disclosing this to newsmen after the State Executive Council meeting in Umuahia on Monday, Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu revealed that Gov.Otti has taken note of the importance of goods made in the state.
The government’s stance, according to the Commissioner is that all goods and services be provided in the state and no more importation of goods and services into the state.
Gov. Otti has given assurance that the moribund Akwaete Textile industry in the state would be promoted to the next level as he encouraged Abians to patronize goods made in the state.
