DNKI Central Imo Chapter celebrates Humanitarian Day

The Central Imo State Chapter of DeNorsemen Kclub International (DNKI), has commended the Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma for the massive ongoing infrastructure development in Imo State.

The Coordinator of the Chapter, Comrade Ndubueze Okonkwo, who stated this while addressing members of the Kclub as part of the activities to mark the Kclub’s International Humanitarian Day in Owerri on Wednesday, 15th of October, 2025, maintained that Governor Hope Uzodinma has turned the entire state into a Construction Site, adding that Imo has been transformed into a modern model state by the Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Hope Uzodinma.

Comrade Okonkwo, who described DNKI as a recognized and registered International Non Governmental organization that believes strongly in service to humanity, however charged members to support the administration of Governor Uzodinma towards its people-oriented vision for Imo people.

He pointed out that Imo Central Chapter of DeNorsemen Kclub International will partner with the Shared Prosperity Government towards achieving a better Imo State and Humanity.

According to him, “Today, Imo State Central Chapter of DeNorsemen Kclub International is celebrating our Humanitarian Day being 15th October and as part of our Social Corporate Responsibility, we will embark on some life-touching projects to support the administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma.”

Speaking while presenting Food items to intimates of Mercy Home at Ugwu Orji in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State, Comrade Ndubueze Okonkwo charged the management of the Home to put the interest of the inmates first, adding that as a Kclub, DNKI will continue to support the less privileged, motherless and the oppressed in the society.

He reassured the management of Mercy Home that Imo Central Chapter of DeNorsemen Kclub will continue to support the Home to ensure that the inmates are taken care of properly.

In her vote of thanks, Matron of the Mercy Home,  Mrs Akunna Ngozi, expressed deep gratitude to the Imo Central Chapter of DeNorsemen Kclub for exhibiting love and care for Motherless children and used the opportunity to call on other Clubs to emulate DNKI style of leadership.

Highpoint of the visit was the prayer session for Kclub by the inmates of Mercy Home and interaction between the inmates of the Home with members of Kclub.
