… Interfaces with Imo Police Commissioner, Danjuma
In a swift response to combat and stem the ugly tide of insecurity Mbaise, the apex socio-cultural organization of the people, Ezuruezu Mbaise, has held a meeting with the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma to seeks collaborative ways of ensuring safety of lives and properties in the area.
A press release, which was made available to www.independentvoice.ng by Ezuruezu Mbaise revealed that the Commissioner of Police during the meeting on Thursday at the Command Headquarters Owerri, “informed the Leaders that a joint Police/Military Patrol is being deployed to secure Mbaise with a detachment to be stationed at Aboh, Ahiazu and Ezinihitte Mbaise”.

The Mbaise apex leadership organization while thanking the Police Commissioner used the opportunity to request “that he ensures that the security personnel deployed to Mbaise treat the innocent citizens with dignity and respect”.
It will be recalled that inorder to confront the ugly security situation in Mbaise, EZURUEZU MBAISE summoned a Meeting of Mbaise Leadership to review the situation, which informed the visit to the Imo Police Command.
This latest move is in line with EZURUEZU MBAISE’s assurances that it “will continue to communicate, consult and coordinate with the State Government, Security Agencies and all Mbaise Sons and Daughters to ensure the full return of peace, security and progress to our homeland”.
