Group expresses gratitude as Chief Ogbata emerges Mpam Eze-Elect

Following the declaration of Chief L.C. Ogbata as the new Eze-Elect of Mpam Autonomous Community in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, the Chief L.C. Ogbata Support Group has expressed gratitude to the people.

In a release signed by Ikukundu Iyke Anyanwu, the Support group says; “This outcome underscores Chief L.C. Ogbata’s unquestionable leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of Mpam Autonomous Community. His elevation to the esteemed position of Eze-Elect heralds a new era of prosperity, unity, and cultural preservation for our community.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all members of Mpam Autonomous Community for their support and participation throughout the selection process. Your unwavering commitment to the principles of democracy and the rule of law has been instrumental in achieving this significant milestone.

“As we look forward to Chief L.C. Ogbata’s formal ascension to the throne, we remain steadfast in our resolve to work together towards a brighter future for Mpam Autonomous Community under his visionary eze-ship.

“On behalf of our Eze Elect, High Chief LC Ogbata, we extend his hands of fellowship to all. This victory belongs to all, where there are no victors or vanquished. We implore all and sundry to come onboard as we join hands to give our kingdom new hope for all.

It will be recalled that Chief L.C. Ogbata has was declared the Eze-Elect of Mpam Autonomous Community following the completion of the Eze selection and screening process by Mpam Town Union.

The report of the Ezeship Selection and Secreening Committee was presented during the General Assembly of Mpam Autonomous Community by the Aladimma Chairman of Umuaju,

The report was subsequently adopted as a working document and immediately read to the general assembly by Mpam General Secretary.

According to the report, the Screening Committee disqualified the other aspirant, Nze Nwigwe, due to alleged discrepancies in his submitted credentials. As a result, Chief L.C. Ogbata was returned unopposed and declared Eze-Elect in compliance with the constitution of Mpam Town Union.
