… Ekwereazu APC leaders sue for Unity, Peace
Having found him worthy, leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, from Mpam Ward in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, have expressed implicit confidence in their son, Ikukundu Iyke Anyanwu by handing him over to Ekwereazu APC leaders.
The Imo State Assistant Treasurer of the APC, Hon Tony Odirichukwu made the presentation during a meeting of Ekwereazu APC Leaders Forum hosted by Ikukundu Anyanwu at the weekend.
According to Odirichukwu, Anyanwu is a son of Mpam whom they have tested and has earned their trust hence the decision to hand him over to Ekwereazu clan to use as they seem fit.
While acknowledging the presentation of Ikukundu Anyanwu from Mpam Ward, Chairman of Ekwereazu APC Leaders Forum, Mr Cajetan Iwuh, thanked God for Ikukundu Anyanwu, adding that the leaders will do the needful at the right time.
APC stakeholders from Ahiazu Mbaise LGA have described Ikukundu Anyanwu as a committed and hardworking party man who is a die-hard supporter of His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma administration.
The leaders at the meeting affirmed the importance of unity and peace among members of the APC in both Ekwereazu clan and the entire Ahiazu Mbaise LGA.
It will be recalled that the APC Leaders meeting at the weekend, which was hosted by Ikukundu Anyanwu, was the first meeting of the forum for the year.
Other leaders of the APC from Ekwereazu clan at the meeting include the Forum’s BOT Chairman, Hon Adauctus Onuoha, immediate past Sole Administrator, Hon Tony Anakani, Secretary of the Forum, Hon Sylvester Ofoegbu, PRO of the Forum, Barr CSO Nwokoch, Hon Mrs Genevieve, Mrs Rose Nwaigwe and Chief D Egere from Oparanadim.
Also in attendence were all the Government liaison officers from Ekwerazu, all seven APC ward chairmen in Ekwerazu, past IMC members from Ekwerazu, the Coordinator of Ekwereazu Development Council, High Chief Okey Ezem the Ahiazu 1 of Ahiazu and members, among others.
