The national secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has set up a joint committee for the National Media Icons Awards with Comrade Ifeanyi and others as members.
The appointmens were made known in a press release issued by the National Secretary of NUJ, Comrade Shuaibu Usman Leman on Thursday August 10, 2023.
According to the release from.the NUJ national secretariat, Comrade Nwanguma is the only Council Chairman in the joint organizing committee from the South East.
The media icon awards is geared towards recognizing media icons who have engraved their names in gold in the media industry.
The Committee is powered by the National secretariat and the Lagos State Council of NUJ.
Members of the committe include: Otunba Gbenga Onayiga as Chairman; Olayide Awosanya – Secretary, Adeleye Ajayi, Tunde Olalere, Sylva Okereke and Julie Ekong.
Others are Wale Akodu, Abimbola Oyetunde, Festus Alenkhe, Grace Ike, and Umar Saidu.
