The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Zone C (South East), has sent out a condolence message to the family and members of the NUJ in Imo State Council, following the death.of the Vice Chairman, Comrade Emma Odibo.
In a condolence message, which was signed by Comrade Ezenwa Adiuku, Zonal Secretary, the zone expressed sadness at the sudden exit of the vice Chairman of the Imo State Council.
NUJ Zone C described Comrade Odibo who passed on last Monday, as a professional and committed member of the Union.

The message reads: “The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Zone C (South East) is saddened by the news of the sudden death of the Vice Chairman of NUJ Imo State Council, Comrade Emma Odibo last Monday.
“Late Comrade Odibo was an experienced and committed member of the NUJ, a serving Vice Chairman and a former member of the National Executive Council, NEC, of our great Union.
“He was a true professional having worked for many years in the newsrooms of various prominent news tabloids.
“NUJ Zone C expresses her sincere condolences to the immediate family and NUJ Imo Council for the demise of Comrade Odibo.
“We pray God to grant his immediate family and NUJ Imo Council the fortitude to bear his untimely death.
“It is our hope that he is already resting in the bosom of his creator where there will be no more pain or worries.
“Adieu our great comrade until we all meet on that glorious morning to part no more”.
