In order to enhance efficiency and optimize service delivery in Imo State Civil Service, Governor Hope Uzodimma’s administration has effected some minor cabinet reshuffle.
To that effect, the commissioner for Transport alongside the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary have been redeployed to the Ministry of Special Duties.
Conversely, the commissioner for Special Duties and the Permanent Secretary will assume duties as the commissioner for Transport and Permanent Secretary respectively.
In a statement signed by the commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, directed that “all handover and takeover formalities should be concluded before the close of work today, Monday, December 16, 2024.”
