The traditional spokesperson of Ndigbo, Onuigbo Ndigbo Gburugburu, Chief Engr Ejike Iwu, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to concentrate on how to solve the riddle of economic hardship ravaging Nigerians.
Reacting to news reports that the President asked state governors to make available grazing lands for Herdsmen across the nation, Onuigbo Ndigbo Gburugburu asked if the herders are carrying out government by business or their individual businesses that should warrant government to provide grazing lands for them.
According to him, if the government should make lands available for private business owners who are into grazing then government should also provide lands to all private business owners across the nation.
The traditional spokesperson of Ndigbo advised the federal government led by President Tinubu to focus on how to bring down the cost of fuel, food items and stabilize the naira against the dollar and other foreign currencies so as to make it competitive.
He said that President Tinubu should stop misplacing priorities in governance as the call to provide lands for Herdsmen is not why Nigerians voted for him during the last presidential election.
The traditional spokesperson called on state goci, especially those from Igbo land not to heed such call as it may likely trigger negative reactions from the citizenry.
