2023 Imo Governorship: NNPP chooses Orlu man to run against Uzodimma

As political parties are preparing ahead of the November 11, 2023 Governorship election in Imo State, the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, has chosen Chief Uche Ben Odunzeh as her  Governorship candidate.

Odunzeh, a native of Exiachi in Orlu Local Government Area of the state, emerges during the substitution Primary that took place at East Gate Hotel, Owerri with 112 delegates present.

The NNPP candidate who is the Chairman of EUC Homes Limited, was unanimously voted  to fly the NNPP flag during the November off-season governorship election in Imo.

It will be recalled that NNPP is the fourth largest political party in Nigeria following the  Party’s outing at the last general election in Nigeria with her presidential candidate; Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso coming fourth.

The incumbent governor, Sen Hope Uzodimma who is the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC , for the November 11 election, is also from Orlu zone as he is an indigene of Omuma in Oru East local government area of the state.
